Entrance-exam merit seats: Through exams like KCET (for Karnataka-domicile students) or COMEDK UGET / occasionally other recognized exams.
Management quota: A portion of seats (roughly ~20–25%) are reserved for management-quota admissions.
For postgraduate courses (M.Tech / MCA / other PG) — separate eligibility and entrance criteria apply.
Eligibility Criteria & Entry Requirements
For B.E. / B.Tech (Undergraduate)
Must have passed 12th (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics compulsory, plus one optional subject (Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology) depending on the stream.
For merit seats (KCET/COMEDK): Minimum ~45% aggregate in PCM (for general category). For SC/ST/OBC (Karnataka) sometimes lower percentage (~40%) allowed.
